New Brunswick shooting under investigation
NEW BRUNSWICK − A Saturday morning shooting left one man in critical condition, said Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Director Anthony A. Caputo of the New Brunswick Police Department.
The shooting remains under investigation, the authorities said Sunday.
According to the Prosecutor's Office, at 11:08 a.m., authorities responded to the area of Delavan Street and Joyce Kilmer Avenue following the report of a shooting. Officers found one male who had a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where he was treated for his injuries andremains in critical condition.
