Never had pre-poll alliances: Meghalaya CM Conrad K Sangma as exit polls favour NPP

Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma said that his party never had any pre-poll alliance with any party since he took over it. CM Sangma, however, spilled no beans about the post-poll alliance either. The Meghalaya chief minister said he will rather wait and watch till the final numbers came out. And, in case of a fractured mandate his party will see all the possible options and best way for the betterment of the people of the state. According to the exit polls, the National Peoples’ Party (NPP) is likely to get 18-26 seats out of a total 60 seats.
