Vivo set to launch V27 Pro in India on March 1, check price and specs

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo is all set to woo customers with its upcoming phone V27 which is launching in India on March 1. Interested customers will be able to purchase the handset from the company’s official website or the same can be purchased from e-commerce giant Flipkart or Amazon with some additional discounts.

The company has already shared the design and some of the key features of the handset on the internet. It has been reported that the upcoming will hit the market with the updated and advanced processor, under which customers will be able to access the heavy application without any leg.

According to a leaked report, Vivo V27 Pro will be offered in three RAM and storage variants in India, which include 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variants. The price of the base variant is said to be Rs 37,999. At the same time, the top variant can be launched at a price of Rs 42,999.

The phone already has been listed on Flipkart which shows the handset will be offered with 3D curved display and ultra slim design. Vivo V27 Pro will be just 7.4mm thin and will get 120Hz refresh rate with it, under which the customers will have a high-definition screen experience while playing any video. A color-changing back panel will also be available with the phone.

Vivo V27 Pro will feature a three rear cameras setup at the back, paired with a ring LED flashlight. The primary lens in the phone will be a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V sensor, with which OIS will also be supported.

Vivo V27 Pro will be offered in Magic Blue and Noble Black colours. It will also feature the advance Android 13 with MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor.

If you are someone you were waiting for this feature that will allow you to edit your messages after sent, then your wait is going to end soon as the platform already started testing the upcoming edit button feature on Facebook Messenger. Screenshots about the same also went viral on the internet, where an edit button was seen and might allow users to edit thier messages multiple times. However, the messaging app did not reveal any official details as of now. But, the report says it will come in the upcoming months.

An internet user named and a mobile developer named Alessandro Paluzzi shared a screen grab on Twitter, where an option for the edit was seen on the message that is being delivered. He also captioned his post, where he wrote that Facebook messenger is working on the ability to edit messages, followed by popping eye emoticons.

Meanwhile, a few days ago, Meta launched a new feature for its two social platforms Messenger and Instagram named Vanish mode. The latest feature allows users to chat with each other where the messages get disappear after reading. The are reports that say that the same feature likely to be included in WhatsApp as well.

Samsung set to launch Galaxy S23 FE, design and specs leaked ahead of official launch

The leading smartphone manufacturer Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S23 series in India, since then, the handsets became the talk of the time. Now the company is all set to attract more customers as it has decided to launch an affordable variant of Samsung Galaxy S23 FE in the country.

Ahead of the official launch, many information such as specs, design leaked on digital platforms, claiming the handset might come with the latest processor with a 120 Hz AMOLE display that will allow users to have a high-definition experience while playing videos or using the phone. As per the leaks, the phone could be equipped with a flagship chipset launched by Qualcomm last year. However, the South Korean tech giant hasn’t revealed anything regarding the same as of now. Not even the price and launch date.

Once launched, interested customers can purchase the smartphone from the company’s authorized store. If one wants it at an additional discount, they can purchase the phone from the e-commerce giant Amazon or Flipkart.

Tipster Connor (@OreXda) claims that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It is the second most powerful chipset from Qualcomm after Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. A lot of flagship phones of this year shared the with same Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 such as OnePlus 11R, Xiaomi 12S Ultra, Asus Zenfone 9, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Oppo Find N2 among others.

It said that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 FE might replace the company’s feature-loaded smartphone Galaxy A74. It is expected that the company likely to launch the S21 FE at a similar price as A74.

Meta on Sunday announced that it is planning to roll out a monthly subscription service, called Meta Verified, for Facebook and Instagram. Users will now have to pay monthly to get a blue tick beside their name on their Instagram and Facebook accounts.

Meta Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mark Zuckerberg said that the move will improve security and authenticity on social media apps. Meta in a post said that the subscription would give paying users a blue badge, increased visibility of their posts, protection from impersonators and easier access to customer service.

Instagram and Facebook web users will have to pay $11.99 (Rs 999.51) a month, and iPhone users will have to pay $14.99 (Rs 1239.60) a month.

Meta Verified will be rolled out in Australia and New Zealand this week before coming to markets in the United States and other countries. Zuckerberg said Meta Verified will also let users verify their account with a government ID, get a blue badge, get extra impersonation protection, and get direct access to customer support.

The paid blue tick move for Instagram and Facebook comes after Elon Musk announced the premium Twitter Blue subscription for $11 (Rs 909.65) in November 2022.

Meta’s paid subscription service is not yet available for businesses, but any individual can pay for verification, but that person has to be over the age of 18 to subscribe to the blue tick.

Other social media apps, like Snap Inc’s Snapchat and messaging app Telegram, launched paid subscription services last year, as a new source of revenue.
