Union minister Anurag Thakur hit out at AAP for raising chants against PM Modi during CBI's grilling of Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia. "Whatever corrupt netas say, it doesn't make any difference. PM Modi rules the hearts of people, which is why they place their faith in him time and again," he said. Thakur repeated PM Modi's recent remark that the "more they throw mud at us, the bigger the lotus will bloom". The Union minister also hit out at Rahul Gandhi for attacking the Centre over the LAC tensions with China. He said that during the 10-year UPA rule, the government didn't give bullet proof jackets, snow suits or fighter jets to the troops. "Instead of strenghtening the forces, their ministers filled up their own coffers," Thakur claimed, while listing out the number of things Modi government has done to give more muscle to the armed forces.
