Special court in UP convicts eight ISIS suspects
A special court in Lucknow has convicted eight suspected ISIS operatives in a terror conspiracy case. All five people aboard a medical transport flight, including a patient, were killed in a plane crash Friday night in a mountainous area in northern Nevada. The Lyon County Sheriff’s office said authorities began receiving calls about the crash near Stagecoach, Nevada, around 9:15 p.m. and found the wreckage two hours later. Stagecoach, a rural community home to around 2,500 residents, is about 45 miles (72 kilometers) southeast of Reno. Care Flight, which provides ambulance service by plane and helicopter, said the dead included the pilot, a flight nurse, a flight paramedic, a patient and a patient’s family member.

25 injured in bus accident in Sri Lanka
Around 25 people were injured after a bus carrying pilgrims to a popular religious site skidded off the road and fell down a precipice in Sri Lanka's central district of Kandy, said police. The bus was carrying approximately 48 passengers who were heading to a temple, police told media, adding that the injured had been taken to nearby hospitals for treatment, Xinhua news agency reported. The victims are residents of Moratuwa in western Sri Lanka. Road accidents are common in central Sri Lanka, especially when it's raining. The meteorology department has warned of rainy weather in the coming days.

Officials of the Delhi Police Special Cell on Saturday arrested two persons who were allegedly planning to go to Pakistan for weapons training. According to the statement released by the police, Khalid Mubarak Khan (21), a resident of Thane West, Maharashtra and the other Abdullah (26), a resident of Tamil Nadu were arrested. As per officials, the duo were planning to crossover to Pakistan for weapon training. Two pistols along with 10 live cartridges, a knife and a wire cutter were recovered from their possession.
