Admin probing viral video of ‘gaushala’

Kanpur: A video of a gaushala located in Ghatampur area of Kanpur went viral on the social media on Saturday, wherein one could see dogs preying upon pieces of flesh lying in the manger of the cattle shed. The video is being told of Bankata village of Bhitargaon block in Ghatampur tehsil. TOI, however, does not confirm the veracity of the viral video. In the viral video, one can also hear a conversation of some people, where they are saying that the dogs have probably killed some calf. They could also be heard saying, “Now how will the cattle eat fodder in this manger?” Sub-divisional magistrate Narwal Gulab Agrahari, while talking to the media, said that the matter is being investigated. “We will probe the incident and initiate action against those responsible for the upkeep of the gaushala,” said SDM further. tnn
