Cuncolim Union defeated Navelim Sporting Club 3-2 in a convincing win in the Seraulim Village Panchayat Cup organised by the United Sports Club of Seraulim and played at SAG ground Seraulim, on Saturday.

Cuncolim scored their first goal in the 9th minute through Daulat Desai, whose powerful shot from close range found the nets as the keeper advanced. Navelim responded with a goal from Terence Miranda in the 22nd minute, but Cuncolim quickly regained the lead with a goal from Dailon Carvallo in the 24th minute. At halftime, Cuncolim led 2-1.

In the second half, Cuncolim extended their lead to 3-1 with a goal from Dailon Carvallo, assisted by Daulat Desai. Navelim scored their second goal with a shot from Ronaldo Pereira in the 52nd minute.

The game ended with a scuffle between teammates Vicky Naik and Denvil Fernandes from Cuncolim Union, resulting in both players being sent off in the dying minutes.
