Mark Hinojosa achieved his first perfect game in the Port Huron Bowling Association. His 300 game was thrown in the Don McIvor Memorial league at Port Huron Lanes. After a pair of 299 games in the Association Tournament recently at Port Huron Lanes, Anthony LaGruth tossed yet another one in The Other League at Bowl O Drome. He would finish with a 985 for the four-game set. In that same session, Robert Smith made a bid for perfection before ending with a 298 game.

After a mostly forgettable first game, Brian Krauss proceeded to dominate the Masters league at Port Huron Lanes with games of 299 and 277, finishing with a 726 series. Bobby Ritchey rounds out the phenomenal games with his 290 in the Tuesday Classic league at Strikers Entertainment Center.

No league seems to be dominated by one person as much as the Wednesday Women league at Strikers. While usually at the top of that particular league’s high scores, this week Laurynn Ball also led all women throughout the area with a 658 series that included a 237 gam.  Additionally, congratulations to coach Ball and the SC4 women’s bowling team for qualifying for the national tournament. Good luck to all the Skippers participating in New York. Marie Warner posted top game of the week with a 255 in the Ladies City league at St. Clair River Lanes.
