Now, Ulhasnagar Shiv Sena (UBT) chief joins Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde

ULHASNAGAR: In a major setback for the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) in Ulhasnagar, recently appointed city party president Dilip Gaikwad, his ex-corporator wife Jyoti and several supporters joined the Shiv Sena in the presence of CM Eknath Shinde on Friday.
Gaikwad's exit comes nearly two months after his pr-edecessor, Rajendra Chaudhary, joined the Shiv Sena. According to sources, Gaikwad, a long-time Thackeray supporter, was unhappy with the party leadership in Thane district. Sources claimed that the Bodares, whose three family members are former corporators, are also in touch with the Shiv Sena.
