'Fading law & order threat to Punjab's industry'
LUDHIANA: Union minister of state (MoS) for commerce and industry Som Parkash on Friday claimed that Punjab's industry was unable to avail the benefits of Centre's schemes because of the state government's failure to effectively implement these.
Parkash, during an interaction with businessmen at Ludhiana Exhibition Centre, claimed that deteriorating law and order was a big threat to Punjab's industry. Parkash also said before inviting people to invest in Punjab, the AAP-led state government should create a conducive and safe environment. He said Centre was making best efforts to ensure industry's progress in Punjab.
