Italian manufacturer CTE has appointed French sales and service company SNM Lift as a service dealer for its truck mounted and spider lift products.
The company will provide product support from its operating hubs in Nantes, Lyon, Paris and Le Havre. SNM (Société Nantaise de Manutention), helping support and improve the after sales coverage of the recently re-established CTE France. SNM Lift president, Regis Morin said: “CTE's concept of service and understanding of the customer, the same philosophy of the SNM group, has naturally led us towards a healthy partnership with a single focus: the customer.” The SNM facility in Nantes Marco Govoni who heads CTE France added: “We were looking for an organisation capable of being close to our customers for the new born CTE France not yet present in a capillary way on the territory. We were happy and lucky to meet SNMLift which represents a guarantee given their experience of more than 10 years alongside users.”
SNM Lift is based in Vigneux-de-Bretagne on the north side of Nantes, with a second facility in Belleville sur Saône near Lyons and mobile service teams in Bordeaux, Paris and Rouen/Le Havre. The company was established in 1981 and was appointed as a Terex crane dealer for the west of France the following year. In 2010 the company was acquired by Vincent Galzin and the current owner and chief executive Régis Morin. The company now operates three main sales and service divisions, Cranes, Port handling equipment and SNM Lift - aerial lifts. The group is the distributor for Terex Rough Terrain and tower cranes, Valla pick & carry cranes, Unic spider cranes, Sany crawler cranes, Genie booms, scissor lifts and telehandlers, as well as ELS platforms. It previously handled Oil & Steel spider lifts and truck mounts. In 2021 Morin bought out Galzin's share in the business to become the company's sole owner.
