35 held in fake call centre raid in Kolkata

KOLKATA: Cops busted a fake call centre — Krishna Infotech — on Friday and arrested 35 people including the owner, Krishna Sharma (28), and four other senior employees. The police seized 45 computers, 36 mobile phones, three hard disks, one laptop, other calling devices and routers from the premises located on the 10th floor of Ergo building in Salt Lake, sector V.
The accused cheated residents in the US, Australia and other countries by posing as US-based health representatives.
