UP CM Yogi Aditiyanath slams Samajwadi Party in state assembly, says Samajwadi Party welcomes criminals into party

The UP CM also questioned the Samajwadi Party on the veracity of the fact that the former MP Atiq Ahmed of Allahabad West is supported by the Samajwadi Party. The UP CM also said that the UP government will crack down on criminals like these.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditiyanath on Saturday lambasted the Samajwadi Party on Saturday in the state assembly. The UP CM in his attack accused Samajwadi Party of patronising criminals and welcoming them with garlands.

CM Yogi Adityanath, while talking on the recent issue of the murder of the prime witness of the 2005 case murder of Bahujan Samaj Party MLA Raju Pal, charged the Samajwadi Party on their contradictive behavior by saying that party welcome the criminals and garland them on one hand whereas on the other they create ruckus over the criminals.

The UP CM also questioned the Samajwadi Party on the veracity of the fact that the former MP Atiq Ahmed of Allahabad West is supported by the Samajwadi Party. The UP CM also said that the UP government will crack down on criminals like these.

Former MP Atiq Ahmed, his brother Khalid Azim and former MLA Ashraf are the prime accused in the Raju Pal murder case. The prime accused are in jail.

After hearing the statement by the CM Yogi, Samajwadi Party’s chief Akhilesh Yadav urged the UP CM to verify and further said that Baldev Samaj Party is not being named as the BJP government in UP is in alliance with them.

The jostle between CM Yogi Adityanath and the Samajwadi Party comes a day after the prime witness in the case of Raju Pal’s murder was shot down in broad daylight on Friday.

The Prime witness Umesh Pal in the 2005 murder case of Raju Pal was shot dead by an unknown man while the prime witness was getting out of the backseat of an SUV in Pryagraj on Friday.

The video of the incident was also captured on the CCTV near the place where it happened. According to reports, the bodyguard was also shot during the shooting and subsequently succumbed to his injuries.

An FIR has been lodged in the case and the police have arrested 14 people in relation to the Umesh Pal murder. The 14 accused include Atiq Ahmed’s son and are being held for questioning.

Congress leader Sonia Gandhi on Saturday, while addressing the workers in the party’s 85th plenary meeting in Raipur, hinted towards her retirement from politics. Gandhi in her address also said that she is grateful to be able to conclude her inning with Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Senior Congress leader addressed the party’s plenary session on the second day in Chattisgarh’s Raipur and said the triumph of the Party in 2004 and 2009 with the help and assistance of former PM Manmohan Singh gave her personal satisfaction.
Gandhi in her address also said that she is grateful to have been able to conclude her political journey with Bharat Jodo Yatra. She also reflected on the Bharat Jodo Yatra and said that the Yatra comes as a turning point and has proved that the Indian citizens seek harmony, tolerance, and equality.

The Congress MP and UPA chairperson also said that it is a challenging juncture for the party and the country. Gandhi also targeted the BJP and alleged the BJP and RSS of seizing every institution in the country.

Gandhi also said that BJP has damaged the country’s economy by working hand in glove with few businessmen.

On the first day of the plenary session, the Congress brass unanimously decided to not hold elections to the Congress Working Committee and empowered the party chief to nominate its members.

Congress party chief Mallikarjun Kharge also addressed the meeting on the second day and said that the Congress is optimistic to work with parties who align with Congress in order to defeat BJP. Kharge further said that the party is ready to make sacrifices to achieve the goal.

Kharge in his speech also thanked former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi for his Bharat Jodo Yatra and praised the Yatra has come as a respite for the countrymen amidst the tensions of hatred.

Congress chief said that the Bharat Jodo Yatra is the name of India’s new hopeful dawn.

AAP leaders allege BJP of attempt to murder on party’s women councillor, demand FIR

The newly elected mayor of Delhi, Shelly Oberoi spoke to the media on what escalated in the Delhi Civic Centre and accused BJP of attacking her as BJP leaders climbed on stage. Oberoi further added and said that the standing committee elections were held in accordance with the BJP yet the party turned to chaos and attacked AAP leaders.

Aam Aadmi Party leaders of Friday assembled at the Kamla Market police station seeking FIR against BJP. The AAP has accused the BJP of attempting to murder on party’s women councillor, said reports.

The move by the AAP comes in the wake of the clash that escalated between the BJP and AAP at the Delhi Civic centre over a key election.

The newly elected mayor of Delhi, Shelly Oberoi spoke to the media on what escalated in the Delhi Civic Centre and accused BJP of attacking her as BJP leaders climbed on stage. Oberoi further added and said that the standing committee elections were held in accordance with the BJP yet the party turned to chaos and attacked AAP leaders.

The Delhi Mayor, while speaking to the media, accused BJP members of assaulting Aam Aadmi Party’s women members. She also urged BJP to come to terms with the defeat.
As per the reports, AAP’s Ashok Kr Maanu, who fell unconscious during the commotion between AAP and BJP, was also in attendance when the police station. While talking to the media, Maanu termed the BJP of being shameless for allegedly attacking the women councillors, as well as the Delhi Mayor. He further said that the party won’t allow this and will approach the court.

AAP Leader Atishi also came forward to allege the male BJP leaders of assaulting the new mayor Shelly Oberoi in the Civic Centre. The AAP leader also demanded the counterpart BJP to stop ‘goondaism’ in Civic centra and echoed Delhi Mayor as she urged the BJP to accept defeat.

The demand for FIR against the BJP comes a day after the clashes between BJP and AAP continued on for the 3rd consecutive day in the Delhi Civic centre over the election of six members to the standing committee.

As per the reports, the councillors of both parties threw punches, manhandled and shoved each other.

A massive clash broke out between the Aam Aadmi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party councillors once again in Delhi Civic Centre on the third day of commotion in the House. The incident was caught on camera and is doing rounds on the internet.

The AAP and BJP councillors manhandled and threw punches at each other while one councillor collapsed amid the ruckus. AAP MLA Atishi claimed that the BJP members got irked and attacked the Delhi Mayor when they sensed their party have a chance to lose the polls.

Reports said the BJP interrupted the counting of votes after the Mayor’s action to which Mayor Shelly Oberoi insisted the result will be declared without the invalid vote.

The fight escalated and a few councillors were seen tearing each other’s kurtas.
