60-member delegation visits Uttar Pradesh Assembly to see proceedings

KANPUR: A 60-member delegation of Merchant Chamber of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday visited the UP legislative Assembly and witnessed the house proceedings.
Led by president Merchant Chamber of UP, Atul Kannodia, convener Teekam Chand Sethia and co-ordinator Vijay Pandey, the delegation also visited the assembly campus to see a digital gallery to know more about the history of the Assembly. They also got themselves clicked at selfie points.
After the visit to the legislative assembly campus, the delegation expressed their gratitude to speaker of the Assembly Satish Mahana. The members said that they were feeling very proud after seeing the Assembly. Kanpur Merchant chamber of UP was grateful to him for this visit.
They said: We visited Vidhan Sabha to see the changes taking place in the UP House. It is more beautiful than what we have seen in pictures in the media.”
Earlier, the delegation met speaker Satish Mahana at his official residence in the morning.
Awadh Dubey, A N Prasad, Dilip Agarwal,Narendra Dalmia, Vimal Jhajharia, Ashish Chauhan, Mahendra Modi, Susheel Bajpai were among the members of the delegation .
