One held for stealing data of private bank customers

Ranchi: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) nabbed a cyber criminal Ram Babu Mandal for allegedly stealing data of people using a data dashboard. The CID said on Thursday that Mandal used to send messages to private bank customers regarding blocking of bank accounts and asked them to install a fake app using PAN card. When the customers opened the app, Mandal would save the data for cheating. TNN
