The Supreme Court on Friday refused to entertain a PIL seeking menstrual leave for female students and working women across India stating that the matter fell within the domain of policy. The matter was heard by the Chief Justice of India, CJI DY Chandrachud. While hearing the petition, SC stated that the matter should be heard by the Ministry of Women and Child Development. SC also asked the government to take any decision or step regarding the issue.
