Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index traded positive around 10:29AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.
L&T Technology(up 0.66 per cent), Wipro(up 0.27 per cent), Infosys(up 0.23 per cent), Tata Consultancy(up 0.14 per cent) and HCL Technologies(up 0.1 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Persistent Systems(down 1.03 per cent), Coforge(down 0.38 per cent), MPhasis(down 0.26 per cent) and Tech Mahindra(down 0.08 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty IT index was up 0.07 per cent at 30619.05 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 29.45 points at 17540.7, while the BSE Sensex was up 145.68 points at 59751.48.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 0 were trading in the green, while 0 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Zomato Ltd., PNB and Tata Steel were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of The Anup Engg, Nintec Systems Ltd., Soma Textiles, RM Drip and Sprinkle and Lead Reclaim and Rubber Products Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Ahimsa Industries L, Libas Designs, Gammon Infra, Future Consumer and Adani Gas hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
