Earlier, Croatia launched E-tourism to improve the efficiency of public services and communication between people and tourist entities within public administration. E-tourism is a brand new set of digital public services for the field of Croatian tourism which has been made available via the e-Citizens (e-Gradjani) system.
Three new e-services for tourism were created as part of that project – TuStart, TuRiznica and TuRegistar, which are under the jurisdiction of Croatian Ministry of Tourism and Sport (MINTS).
Two more were previously upgraded in the process – eVisitor as a system for the registration and de-registration of tourists and the portal Croatia.hr, which presents the entire Croatian tourist offer and various types of information. Both are under the jurisdiction of the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ/CNTB).
