‘Guruji ne bol diya! Bas Hum to Dhanya ho gaye!’ says Temjen Imna Along to PM Narendra Modi

Dimapur , 24 Feb : During a political rally, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended Temjen Imna Along, the Nagaland chief of his political party, for his social media presence.
The Nagaland BJP chief has become a Twitter sensation, regularly sharing short clips of himself and his humorous quips.
In a 32-second clip shared by Along, PM Modi praises him for representing Nagaland and the northeast on social media in a grand way. The chief, who is also a minister for Higher Education & Tribal Affairs in Nagaland, is a first-time BJP MLA.

Along’s self-deprecating humor, including jokes about his weight and marital status, has made him a well-loved figure among his followers. The upcoming Nagaland elections will see the BJP-NDPP alliance contesting in all seats of the 60-member state assembly.
