    Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

    Mahindra CIE, Zen Tech, Jindal Saw, Nintec Systems Ltd. and Soma Textiles, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

    Nagaraj Shetti, Technical Research Analyst at HDFC Securities, believes Monday's pattern could be considered as a High Wave, which reflects high volatility in the market at swing highs.
    NEW DELHI: Shares of Mahindra CIE, Zen Tech, Jindal Saw, Nintec Systems Ltd. and Soma Textiles, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

    Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 45.45 points down at 17465.8 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

    However, stocks such as Ahimsa Industries L, Kridhan Infra, Macrotech Developers Ltd., The Mandhana Retail and Praxis Home Retail, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

    Overall, 22 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 27 closed in the red.

    In the Nifty 50 index, Divis Labs, Adani Ports SEZ, Asian Paints, Coal India Ltd and Dr. Reddys were among top gainers during the day, while Hindalco, Adani Ent., M&M, JSW Steel and Tata Steel ended in the red.

    The BSE Sensex closed 141.87 points down at 59463.93.

    Traders piled up positions in IT - Hardware, Rubber, Telecommunications, Shipping and Consumer Durables sectors, while selling was witnessed in Infrastructure, Petrochemicals, Agro Processing, Metals - Ferrous and Industrial Consumables sectors during the day.
