Ahead of the Meghalaya Elections 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 24 attended a public rally in Tura, Meghalaya. During the election rally, he said ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ is secularism for the BJP govt. PM Modi said, “People of Meghalaya have decided to have a BJP government both in the state and at the Centre. In the last nine years, 5000 crores have been spent in the name of National Highway in Meghalaya. 11 districts of Meghalaya have been connected by National Highway. The central government also wants to connect Meghalaya with the neighbouring countries. Efforts are being made to provide more markets to the farmers and those who grow fruits and vegetables.”“BJP does not discriminate on the basis of religion, panth, caste. Everyone gets the benefit of BJP’s schemes. BJP works for the betterment of Janata Janardhan for 100 pc profit. ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ is secularism for us,” he added.
