Women conned into posing nude, cops hunt for two men in Telangana

HYDERABAD: Several women were conned into posing for nude photos by two men in Jadcherla after falling for the duo's get-rich-quick plan. The women realised they had been taken for a ride after their nude photos began circulating in public. Police are now on the look-out for the two accused after two women filed complaints.
The two accused, Jainulauddin and Ramulu, had claimed that a 'godman' known to them in Hyderabad could help the women get rich once he performed rituals using their nude photos.
"The women fell for the con and allowed the accused to take their nude photographs at a place in Jadcherla," a cop at Jadcherla Town police said.
Cops said that their investigation is still at initial stages and they suspect the role of six people, including two from Hyderabad. Police said that most of the women were married and their families were not aware of what had happened.
"There are many victims but most are unwilling to lodge complaints as they are worried about their reputation," the cop said.
Police have charged Jainulauddin and Ramulu under cheating and other relevant sections of IPC. So far no one has been arrested.
