Replicate Kanpur model of multi-sports complex in 10 big smart cities of UP, says chief secretary Durga Shankar Mishra

KANPUR: Chief secretary of UP state Durga Shankar Mishra on Tuesday asked the district magistrates and the municipal commissioners of ten large Smart Cities of the state to replicate Kanpur model of Multi- Sports Complex so that more and more sports persons in these districts could get world class sports facilities under the Khelo India campaign.
The chief secretary passed these directions after witnessing a 10 minutes video presentation about the sports hub multi-sports complex at the Palika stadium which was presented by the divisional commissioner Raj Shekhar and municipal commissioner Shiv Sharanappa. The chief secretary liked the presentation and appreciated the initiative of Kanpur Smart City. tnn
