THANE: A soil cave-in incident in Naupada area of Maharashtra's Thane district left two labourers dead and one other injured on Thursday, a civic official said.
The incident took place in B Cabin locality at 8:15pm, said Thane Municipal Corporation regional disaster management cell chief Avinash Sawant.
"The three labourers were taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared two of them dead on arrival. Their identity is being verified," he said. A police official said an accidental death report has been registered and further probe was underway.
