Surguja Divisional Commissioner Dr. Sanjay Kumar Alang inspected Dhukwari Narva of Premnagar block. During the inspection, he inquired about Percolation Tank, Struggle Contour Trench, Gully Plug, Eden Dam, Brushwood, Dabri Embankment and Stop Dam. The details about the villages which might be benefited from Narva from the income map was given by the MNREGA APO. He directed the officers of the involved division to profit most farmers from the water of Narva.
Commissioner Dr. Alang mentioned with the farmers and inquired in regards to the fertility of the crops. It was advised by the farmers that as a result of building of Narva, they’re producing paddy, wheat, mustard and potatoes, because of which they’re incomes. The commissioner inspired the current farmers to take extra fertile crops. He requested to benefit from all of the schemes being offered by the federal government. The size of Dhukwari Nala is 7 kms. Farmers of Laxmanpur, Kedarpur and Raghunathpur are getting benefited from this drain.
