China will offer financial support to southern Hengqin economic zone

BEIJING : China will facilitate cross-border capital flow and credit financing for Macau citizens in the Guangdong-Macau in-depth cooperation zone in Hengqin, a special economic zone in southern China, financial regulators said in a statement on Thursday.

Facilitation of investment and financing as well as further opening up in the finance sector will also be explored in the zone, according to the statement.
