Rakhi Sawant’s husband Adil Khan Durrani in Mysuru police custody

MYSURU: The city police have got custody of hotelier Adil Khan Durrani, who is husband of Bollywood actor Rakhi Sawant, on Wednesday. Following a complaint of rape against Durrani, the city police had got a body warrant and took custody of the accused from Mumbai to investigate the case. An Iranian student had lodged the complaint earlier this month.
We have brought Adil Khan to Mysuru to investigate a complaint registered at VV Puram police station. “We are carrying out mahazar and other procedures. The court has handed him over to police custody for five days,” said DCP (L&O) M Mutthuraj.
Meanwhile, Rakhi also visited the court. She told reporters that her husband’s family is not accepting her because she is a Hindu. She alleged that her husband has not returned Rs 1.61 crore borrowed from her and broke down. She claimed that she was misled by her husband and cheated.
