The Southland Conference will soon reveal its previously-announced rebrand after hinting at the changes Wednesday in a new video.

The video, which was posted on the Southland's social media accounts, was set to Jay-Z's 2003 song, "Public Service Announcement." A date of March 1, 2023 was then shown with "Southland vs. All Y'all" written below.

Last April, the Southland announced that it was collaborating with Troika Media Group to initiate a rebrand. Southland commissioner Chris Grant said the rebrand could include a new name and a new logo.

"After strategic discussions with our board of directors, athletic directors, student-athletes and fans, we are excited to pursue a brand that reflects this new era of the Southland Conference," Grant said in the announcement last year.

Lamar University returned to the Southland last spring after spending one athletic season in the Western Athletic Conference. The Southland was founded in 1963 with Lamar as an original member.
