NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 18.82 points down at 60672.72 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, SVP Global(down 19.96 per cent), Suditi Ind(down 12.13 per cent), Tranway Technologies(down 11.50 per cent), GRP Ltd(down 10.32 per cent) and Ladderup Fin(down 10.17 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 19 stocks closed in the green, while 31 stocks ended in the red.

The index closed 17.9 points down at 17826.7.

On the BSE, SVP Global, Indong Tea Company Ltd., Suditi Ind, Jet Infraventure and Zee Learn hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Super Fine Knitters, Danlaw Technologies, Cenlub Ind, VMV Holidays Ltd. and Praveg Comm touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
