    Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

    Lead Reclaim and Rubber Products Ltd., Majesco L(PP), PG Electroplast, MPS Ltd and Nucleus Soft, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

    NEW DELHI: Shares of Lead Reclaim and Rubber Products Ltd., Majesco L(PP), PG Electroplast, MPS Ltd and Nucleus Soft, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

    Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 17.9 points down at 17826.7 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

    However, stocks such as SVP Global, California Soft, Shree Ram Proteins, Tata Tele and Pokarna Ltd, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

    Overall, 19 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 31 closed in the red.

    In the Nifty 50 index, NTPC, Britannia, RIL, Tata Steel and Power Grid were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ent., Apollo Hospital, Coal India Ltd, Bajaj Auto and Tata Motors ended in the red.

    The BSE Sensex closed 18.82 points down at 60672.72.

    Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Rubber, Defence, Plastics and Consumer Durables sectors, while selling was witnessed in Petrochemicals, Learning & Education, Irrigation & Allied Services, Glass and Airlines sectors during the day.
