Share price of Lupin rises as Nifty weakens

Shares of Lupin Ltd. gained 0.4 per cent to Rs 672.75 in Monday's trade as of 01:27PM (IST). The stock hit a high price of Rs 674.7 and low of Rs 658.9 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at -12.74 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 01:27PM shares and turnover at Rs 1.1 crore around that time. The stock of Lupin Ltd. quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 798.9 and 52-week low prices of Rs 583.05, respectively.

The stock's Beta value, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.75.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 46.82 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2022, while foreign investors held 13.98 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 16.47 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 4340.18 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2022, up 4.32 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 4160.46 crore and up 3.46 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 4194.99 crore. Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 153.47 crore, down 71.87 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
