Ex-serviceman shoots himself dead in Ludhiana’s Mullanpur

LUDHIANA: An ex-serviceman allegedly shot himself dead with his licensed weapon in Ludhiana’s Mullanpur village late Monday evening.
The deceased was identified as Charanjit Kumar, who was in his 40s.
According to the police, Charanjit attended a wedding celebration and later, upon returning home, took his own life by shooting himself.
“The family of the deceased, including three children, was reportedly present at the wedding celebration at the time of the incident,” they added.
