Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Adani Power(Rs. 107.90 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 55.53 crore), RIL(Rs. 53.78 crore), RBL Bank(Rs. 50.56 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 49.88 crore), Zomato Ltd.(Rs. 41.75 crore), FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)(Rs. 37.63 crore), Ambuja Cements(Rs. 35.84 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 27.64 crore) and Suzlon Energy(Rs. 26.80 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 99.6 points down at 17844.6, while BSE Sensex fell 311.03 points to 60691.54.

In the Nifty index, Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.50 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 1.77 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.33 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.11 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 0.94 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Cipla Ltd.(down 6.02 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 5.88 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 1.75 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.67 per cent) and UPL Ltd.(down 1.58 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
