New space to come up at Technopark
Thiruvananthapuram: In a move aimed at augmenting the space requirements, a new commercial building has been proposed at the phase 1 campus of Technopark.
Tenders have been invited for the construction of a new commercial building in the Technopark phase I campus. The building will have an area of 50,000 square feet with two floors. It is proposed to be constructed at an outlay of Rs 30 crore. The building is being planned with complete electrification with 100% DG backup, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), fire protection, integrated building management system, beautification of surroundings and solar power panels. The total estimated cost is Rs 30 crore.
Some of the salient features of the commercial building are energy-efficient HVAC systems with the latest fire protection systems, complete reuse of wastewater, use of smart water meters, smart and prepaid energy meters, and installation of highly efficient solar panels.
“This commercial complex is aimed to have infrastructure with better ambiance for facilities like shops, restaurants, banking facilities, etc. This will be beneficial for the all the occupants of Technopark and also enable optimizing/consolidating the space requirement,” said Sanjeev Nair, CEO of thhe Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram.
