Last week's winner was Algonac wrestling's Chris Campbell, who placed first in the 113-pound weight class of the Division 3, Regional 21 individual district tournament on Feb. 11.

Listed below are this week’s candidates in alphabetical order:
Dominic Cattivera — Cardinal Mooney boys basketball: Cattivera recorded a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double in the Cardinals' 57-41 triumph over Royal Oak Shrine Catholic on Feb. 16.
Mitchell Donaldson — Marysville hockey: Donaldson scored two goals in the Vikings' 4-1 win over Birmingham Unified on Feb. 18.
Cristian Haslem — St. Clair wrestling: Haslem won the Division 2, Region 5 individual championship on Feb. 18. He defeated Izaak Kulkulski of Bay City John Glenn by an 8-7 decision in the first-place match.
Erin Seros — St. Clair girls basketball: Seros posted a 10-point, 11-rebound double-double in the Saints' 43-36 victory over Warren Cousino on Feb. 17. She also finished with four steals and three assists.
