Bharatpur murders: Six detained, lens on Haryana cops
Six people have been detained over the kidnapping and murder of two men from Rajasthan’s Bharatpur by suspected cow vigilantes in Haryana as the probe focused on claims by the duo’s families that they were thrashed by Haryana cops before being burnt to death by their abductors on suspicion of cow smuggling. The fresh disclosures follow Friday’s arrest of Rinku Saini, a Haryana cabbie and suspected vigilante, for the murders of Junaid (39) and Nasir (25). Their charred remains were found in a burnt Bolero in Haryana’s Bhiwani Thursday, a day after their abduction.
