Juvenile dead after Saturday morning shooting in Cedar Rapids
Police in northwest Cedar Rapids found a male juvenile shot on Saturday morning.
Officers arrived at the 1600 block of F Avenue at 11:42 a.m. Saturday after receiving multiple calls reporting shots were fired, according to a news release from the City of Cedar Rapids.
At the scene, a male juvenile was found suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
The news release said the shooting, "appears to be a targeted incident."
The investigation is ongoing.
