The reintroduction of strict restrictions that were in place when the Taliban ruled before the establishment of the US-backed government has worried the world. In august 2021, the Taliban overthrew the US-backed government in afghanistan and took power. The country has been under a lot of strict restrictions, ever since they took over.
Ban on women studying in universities:

In particular, against women, the harsh regulations have come under heavy criticism. As a result, the Afghan government banned women from studying in universities. Following this, the Taliban government imposed a ban on the employment of women in all local and foreign non-governmental organizations in Afghanistan. This made the situation worse. In this way, while women's rights are being denied, the Taliban explained that women's rights are not important to them.
Contraindications to use of contraceptives:

The Taliban has issued a new announcement regarding the next step in its crackdown on women. Accordingly, the use of contraceptives has been restricted in two major cities of Afghanistan. There, the Taliban have stopped the sale of contraceptives. The Taliban are said to be going door to door and threatening housewives. Similarly, the Taliban have been removing contraceptives and equipment from drug stores. A drug shop owner, who did not want to be named, said that they came to his shop twice with a gun and threatened not to sell contraceptives. They are constantly checking every pharmacy in Kabul. They have stopped selling contraceptives. A housewife said that she was threatened by the Taliban. She has been threatened many times. They will not allow her to go out and promote the Western concept of population control. This is unnecessary work, she said.
Another pharmacy owner said that contraceptive pills and Depo-Provera injections have not been allowed to be kept in the pharmacy since the beginning of this month. And they are very afraid to sell the existing stock.
