Ashton Kutcher Reveals the Unusual Ingredient He Adds to His Coffee

Ashton Kutcher has a very interesting coffee order!

While promoting his new movie Your Place or Mine on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Tuesday (February 14), the 45-year-old actor revealed the unusual ingredient he adds to his coffee.

Ashton confessed that he occasionally adds a “splash” of orange juice into his coffee instead of creamer.

“I’m not big on creamers. I don’t like creamers. I usually drink black coffee. That is my go-to: black coffee,” Ashton shared. “But, occasionally, I like light roast black coffee, and one of the things about light roast black coffee is that it has citrus notes in it…It’s the acidity that sort of gives it a brightness when you’re drinking coffee.”

One way to replicate those citrus notes in medium roast coffee is by adding orange juice.

“So, if I ever have a medium roast coffee, and I’m like, ‘Ah, I really would prefer this be a little bit more light roast.’” Ashton explained. “I take just a splash, not very much, a splash of orange juice, and it brightens up the coffee and gives it a little bit of sweetness.”

When Kelly said that she’s going to try coffee with orange juice, Ashton emphasized to not put a lot of orange juice in the mug.

“Just a splash. Don’t go overboard,” Ashton warned. “If you go overboard, it gets all sorts of not fun.”

Also during his interview, Ashton shared details about the time he drunkenly told wife Mila Kunis that he loves her.
