Missing 13-year-old Sioux Falls girl found safe, police say
Update 6:15 p.m. Thursday: Rayne Jennessee has since been found safe, according to the Sioux Falls Police Department. No other details have been released at this time.
Earlier story: The Sioux Falls Police Department is continuing to ask for the public's help in finding a teenage girl who's been missing since Feb. 11.
Police spokesman Sam Clemens said Rayne Jennessee, 13, left home on Feb. 11, because of "issues at home," but police are having trouble finding her.
Given her age and current weather conditions, Clemens said, "there is some concern and we're looking for her." She is 5 feet 4 inches tall, and may have been wearing a black sweatshirt when she left home.
Clemens said often children who run away from home will still contact friends or use social media, but that Jennessee has not communicated with anyone that they were aware of.
Clemens said anyone with information on Jennessee's whereabouts, or anyone who might have seen her in the last several days, should contact police immediately.
