Loyola wins at home; Haughton, Calvary make history with LHSAA playoff victories

Loyola had the only home game in Shreveport and Bossier in the first round and played a strong defensive game against Ascension.
The Lady Flyers held Ascension scoreless the entire first half on their way to a 39-15 victory in the Select Division III playoff contest. Emma Sipes led the way with 14 points.
The Haughton Lady Bucs made history by winning the first Class 5A playoff game in school history with a 53-48 road victory over Dutchtown behind 17 points from Bella Hammond.
The Calvary Lady Cavaliers also made history by winning their inaugural playoff game 35-32 over Pope John Paul.
