    Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

    Nucleus Soft, Foseco India, Vesuvius India, Global Health Ltd. and APL Apollo Tube, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

    NEW DELHI: Shares of Nucleus Soft, Foseco India, Vesuvius India, Global Health Ltd. and APL Apollo Tube, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

    Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 20.0 points up at 18035.85 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

    However, stocks such as Sanwaria Consumer, Suumaya Lifestyle, LCC Infotech Ltd., Zee Learn and OrissaBengalCarrier, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

    Overall, 27 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 23 closed in the red.

    In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, Tech Mahindra, Apollo Hospital, Divis Labs and Nestle India were among top gainers during the day, while BPCL, HDFC Life, HUL, M&M and Bajaj Finance ended in the red.

    The BSE Sensex closed 44.42 points up at 61319.51.

    Traders piled up positions in Defence, Cables, Miscellaneous, Pesticides/Agro Chemicals and Chemicals sectors, while selling was witnessed in Petrochemicals, Airlines, Learning & Education, Logistics and Leather sectors during the day.
