HONOLULU — The national tour, “Disney Junior Live On Tour: Costume Palooza,” has added a performance at 6 p.m. on March 17 because of overwhelming demand. The national tour marks its first showing in Hawaii with a limited engagement that now runs March 17 through March 19. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 16 HST.
"We are gratified by the positive response in Hawaii and are going to blow the minds of Disney Junior fans with all the on-stage fun and new songs we have in store for them," said Jonathan Shank, producer and CEO of Terrapin Station Entertainment. "We are excited to be working with the Disney Junior team again on this premier preschool production, bringing back all the beloved Disney characters and now, for the first time, ‘Marvel's Spidey and his Amazing Friends.’”
Mickey, Minnie and friends are ready to throw a costume party, but mysterious weather keeps interrupting the fun. Can Team Spidey help save the Costume Palooza? That’s the premise behind “Disney Junior Live On Tour: Costume Palooza” written and directed by Amy Pinkham and produced by Jonathan Shank of Terrapin Station Entertainment.
Audiences will see characters from “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends” in the all-new show, including favorites Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Doc McStuffins and the Puppy Dog Pals. The show will also include Alice from “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery” and Bo from “Firebuds.”
The immersive and interactive concert experience is designed to enthrall Disney Junior’s fans with singing, dancing, 3D special effects and acrobatics featuring cirque-level performances that include trampoline routines from renowned acrobatic director John Brady.
Keiki will hear songs from popular Disney Junior series, plus the new original song, “Green Gobby Party,” written by “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends” composer/songwriter Patrick Stump. The full playlist is available via Spotify.
Parents can get tickets and show information on the event website.
