BEL shares decline 0.9% as Sensex slides

Shares of the Bharat Electronics Ltd. traded at Rs 93.7 on BSE at 01:58PM (IST) on Wednesday, down 0.9 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 62.29 and a high of Rs 115.0.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap down opening in the morning.

A total of 165,914 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:58PM (IST).

The stock of Bharat Electronics Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 68456.08 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 24.83, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 4.18. Return on equity (ROE) was at 19.52 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 260 stocks traded in the green, while 241 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 51.14 per cent in the Bharat Electronics Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2022 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 17.34 per cent and 24.96 per cent, respectively.
