Hyde is also leading a $5 million project to create a 150-acre village, called the Pulaski County Community Village project, to house the chronically homeless in southern Pulaski County. Modeled after a similar project in Texas, the project would provide tiny houses, resources and some employment opportunities.

The state of the county event will begin at 10 a.m. and is free and open to the public, but requires an RSVP to attend
