A 120-mm mortar shell was destroyed in a controlled explosion by Army experts on Tuesday. It was found in a forward village near the Line of Control during a road construction work between Islamabad and Shahpur in Bandi Chachi in Poonch district by the BRO, officials said.

An Army unit was called to destroy the shell.
