Guv visits Kukke

Mangaluru: Karnataka governor Thaawarchand Gehlot visited Kukke Sri Subrahmanya Temple and offered prayers on Tuesday.
The temple management committee as well as the district administration welcomed the governor near the temple entrance. He was taken to the temple in a traditional procession. The governor offered prayers to Sri Subrahmanya deity. The chief priest Vedamoorthi Seetharama Yedapadithaya offered a shawl and prasada to Gehlot. Priest Vedamoorthi Sathyanarayana Noorithaya offered prasada to the family members of the governor. The governor was accompanied by wife Anita Gehlot and grandchildren. Gehlot and family also visited the shrine of Hosaligamma at the temple.
