Most of the people who voted early voted in support of a proposal to increase the millage rate for North Little Rock libraries.

The early vote showed 271 votes in favor (59.96%) and 180 votes opposed (39.82%) to increasing the millage rate from three to five mills. The rate increase would amount to a $40 increase on property taxes for a $100,000 home. A mill is one-tenth of a cent and is applied to 20% of the appraised value of property.
