Man dies after being found injured in an alleyway in Phoenix

A man died Sunday morning after he was found injured in an alleyway near 38th Avenue and Cholla Street in Phoenix.

Phoenix police arrived at the location at about 8 a.m. and found the man with signs of trauma. Phoenix Fire Department units also arrived and took the man to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Phoenix Police Department and the Maricopa County Office of the Medical Examiner were investigating.
