Starting center Charles Bediako is dealing with a minor knee injury, Alabama basketball coach Nate Oats said Tuesday.

Bediako sustained the injury in the win over Auburn on Saturday but played through it.

"He's day-to-day," Oats said. "He's gotten better every day since the Auburn game. We'll see where he's at tomorrow on game day."

Bediako, a 7-foot, 225-pound center, has been a regular in the starting lineup. He averages 5.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game over 20.5 minutes.

No. 1 Alabama (22-3, 12-0 SEC) is set to face No. 11 Tennessee (19-6, 8-4) on Wednesday (6 p.m. CT, ESPN2) in Knoxville.

If Bediako can't play, Oats said Alabama could insert Noah Gurley into the starting lineup. The fifth-year senior has averaged 15.9 minutes per game in a reserve role this season with 5.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game.
